Sharjah has confirmed that several roads leading to Expo Centre are ready ahead of the Sharjah International Book Fair, which runs from 4 to 15 November 2026.

The Initiatives Implementation Authority, known as Mubadara, and the Sharjah Roads and Transport Authority announced the preparations on 2 November. According to Sharjah24’s report of the announcement, the work aims to help traffic flow and make the venue easier to reach.

Getting to the fair

For visitors driving to Expo Centre, the practical benefit is access to the venue. Keeping approach roads ready can help people reach the fair for a talk, a workshop or a browse through the book stalls.

If you have booked a session, leave time for the journey and for finding your way inside before it starts.

What to plan before you go

The 45th edition takes place at Expo Centre Sharjah, with Oman as guest of honour, as WAM reports. Its programme includes author events and activities alongside the publishers’ stands.
