Children Aged 3–5 Can Make Paper Plant Sculptures at a Free Sharjah Workshop on 7 November

A free paper-and-cardboard workshop at Sharjah Art Institute invites children aged 3–5 and their adults to invent a plant on 7 November.

A few pieces of paper and cardboard can become a plant that exists only in your child’s imagination. Sculpt a New Plant, a Sharjah Art Foundation workshop for children aged 3–5, takes place on 7 November, from 11am to 1pm.

The session is at Sharjah Art Institute in Arts Square. Children must come with an adult, and the workshop runs in English and Arabic.

What children will make

Young participants will cut and arrange paper and cardboard into three-dimensional plant shapes. The foundation’s workshop page describes an activity built around shape, colour, texture and balance.

It gives families a shared making activity, with room for children to choose what their invented plant looks like.

How to register

The foundation lists the session as free. Use the Register button on the workshop page and select Sculpt a New Plant in the autumn learning programme form. Confirm your place before heading over.

For accessibility support or questions, contact the children’s programme at [email protected] or 06 568 8800.
