Abu Dhabi Has Announced New Border Entry Rules for Vaccinated People!

Whoop Whoop!

Abu Dhabi has been very strict with their Covid-19 rules recently as to reduce the spread of the virus among their people. However, they have now eased their rules for vaccinated people to enter their border. Scroll down to learn more.

As Covid-19 cases reduce, the emirate’s Emergency, Crisis and Disaster Committee have stated that those who are vaccinated or have participated in clinical trials for vaccines can pass through the Abu Dhabi border with a green pass status and an active E or star icon on Al Hosn App.

The E and star status will stay active until seven days have finished after a negative PCR test.

After doing this, no further testing will be required while you stay in Abu Dhabi!

However, the current testing procedures for those who are unvaccinated and want to enter the border will stay the same. They will need to do a PCR test within 48 hours of entry or a DPI test within 24 hours of entry into Abu Dhabi. They will also have to do additional testing while they enjoy their stay there. This used to be the same for those who were vaccinated, fortunately now, you no longer have to do this!

Keep staying safe and wear those masks!
