Abu Dhabi is All Set to Open Middle East’s Largest Aquarium, This Friday!

It’s gonna be FINtastic!

The National Aquarium will be home to the region’s largest aquarium and to 46,000 sea creatures with over 300 species spread across 10 zones!

Visitors will be able to encounter sharks, get a close-up view of super snakes which is known as the largest living snake on earth, along with experiencing the best marine life as this is the only aquarium in the country to home scalloped hammerhead sharks and bull sharks!

Abu Dhabi’s aquarium took three years in the making and signed a five-year partnership with the Environment Agency Abu Dhabi to help build the largest and most innovative retaliation schemes as a way to protect and rehabilitate wildlife in UAE; To which they are already doing such an amazing job by having rehabilitated 2,000 sea turtles!

Visitors can get a glimpse of the rehabilitation process as that is the whole purpose of The National Aquarium – to educate people along with rehabilitation and conserving our wildlife.

There will lots of exciting things to see and experience such as a waterfront destination spanning 2.4KM featuring, scenic walkways, entertainment including cinemas, a children’s area, an outdoor skate park and landscaped community spaces.

It will also include a yacht marina, an e-sports and gaming zone, a wellness hub and a VR park!

The new ‘sea paradise’ is based in Al Qana and will be open to the public this Friday, November 12th at 10 am.
