“A booster (third) dose for any Covid-19 vaccine is not a requirement for entry into the emirate,” the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT – Abu Dhabi) said.

Usually for residents they need to maintain their green pass on their Al Hosn app by getting a PCR negative test result within 14 days or 96 hours before the visit to Abu Duabi. They also must be vaccinated against Covid-19 and receive a booster shot.

However for tourists, if they’re vaccinated, they must show proof of their full vaccination (double shot) status such as through their home country’s official vaccination certificate through a mobile app or physical certificate, as well as a negative PCR test results acquired within the last 14 days, or a negative 48-hour PCR test obtained from tourists’ home country, according to the new guidelines for tourists.

For non-vaccinated tourists, you just need to have a negative PCR test result that you got within 96 hours!

Plus, tourists get a specific line just for them! It is the far right lane where there are officials that help make the line go faster and ease any problems if present.

Safe travels everyone & enjoy!
