Books AND art??? Count us in!
FOCAL POINT 2021, the annual Sharjah art book fair will take place in Sharjah Art Foundation’s Bait Obaid Al Shamsi from December 9 to 11, 2021! It will feature the work of more than 120 publishers, magazines, artists, editors, authors, and makers from the UAE and the MEASA region.
FOCAL POINT is an annual art book fair held in Sharjah by the Foundation to support, catalyze, and promote interdisciplinary publishing practices as part of the arts ecology. It was launched in 2018.
In addition, the fair will begin with a talks program at The Flying Saucer featuring recent releases from SAF Publishing, The Africa Institute, and winners of SAF’s annual publishing grant in 2019 and 2020, as well as the announcement of the 2021 edition winners. There will be workshops for both children and adults at this fair as well as musical programs for everyone to enjoy in!
