In this fun workshop you’ll learn about inks specifically designed for artwork and their techniques on Yobo papers, as well as color fluidity and how to create a one-of-a-kind piece of art.
AND you’ll also be able to include favorite parts of your favorite poems by Kahlil Gibran Jubran. If you’re unaware who this beloved artist is, we got you covered!
Kahlil Gibran, was born in Bsharri during the Ottoman Empire in 1883 and moved to the United States with his family at a young age. In 1904 he began exhibiting his drawings while also pursuing literary interests, which led to the publication of his first Arabic book in 1905.
He has created amazing art pieces throughout his life which is now exhibited at the house of wisdom where this workshop will also be taking place!
