Sharjah is taking the initiative to make beaches in the Emirate more accessible for the elderly and people of determination, with letting them take part in the activities most people get to experience at the beach, like taking a dip in the sea!
Hence why these special wheelchairs, specially designed to navigate through the beach and to float in the water, is being made available at multiple beaches around Sharjah but as of right now, Al Hamriyah Beach is Sharjah’s first suitable beach to make it available after they made the efforts to renovate the area’s facilities throughout the year.
The beaches will have trained personnel present on the scene whenever the visitors would need help to use the floating wheelchairs
