Since the pandemic began, we all started to look for things to do at home, or go back to our old hobbies like reading. Bookbirds helped made it easier for us to get back into reading by providing hundreds of books online for us to read. All the way from the most popular books to the hidden gems!
A business started in the pandemic by two sisters flourished among book lovers. They hoped to give people an easy and cheap way to escape the lockdown struggle through books. So they started to send out books that were sanitized to customers along with encouraging handwritten notes and free bookmarks!
Not only do they sell books, but they also buy preloved books from other people who no longer need the books but still want them to end up in another home. They also accept book donations and instead of selling them, they would give away as free additions! So wholesome!!
You can also look out for their frequent giveaways story contests on their Instagram page. That is where they present a range of book trivia questions and then select a range of winners for their awesome prizes!
They also recently expanded their business by starting an account to give gift boxes of books to any book lover out there! You can follow them on instagram on @bookbirds.uae & @dreamerscrate.ae!
