If you’re a fan of nature and everything it has to offer then you need to visit this Marine Festival happening in Sharjah this weekend!
This marine festival is called the Sir Bu Nair Festival which is happening at the Sir Bu Nair Island this weekend! There will be coral reef farming, sea turtle releases, races, volleyball matches, fishing competitions, a marina bike show, heritage rowing & so much more!
Sir Bu Nair Island is located 110 kilometers north of Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates. It is famous for its pristine beaches, crystal clear water, and the abundance of coral and fish life in its surroundings. Emiri Decree No (25) issued by His Highness Dr Sheikh Sultan Bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, designated Sir Bu Nair Island as a nature reserve.
The event’s main goal is to raise awareness about the biodiversity of Sharjah’s marine life so let’s help do that!
It will take place from the 3rd of June until the 5th of June between 8 am – 10 pm!
