UAE is Easing Covid-19 Restrictions on Capacities At Events & Malls by Mid-February

How do you feel about this? 😀

The UAE has announced the slow but steady removal of COVID-19-related attendance capacity restrictions at all activities and events in all economic and tourist facilities, shopping malls, and transportation modes, with the goal of operating at full capacity by mid-February.

In addition, the social distancing in mosques and places of worship has been reduced to one metre while the pandemic is being monitored and precautionary measures are being adjusted accordingly.

The relaxation of restrictions is due to a decrease in the number of daily detected infections, indicating a clear improvement in the country’s epidemiological situation, according to NCEMA.

The remarkable commitment of community members, as well as their effective contributions to the implementation of precautionary and preventive measures, have significantly contributed to a reduction in the number of daily reported cases, with a clear decrease in the admission rate of Covid-19 patients in hospitals.
