The UAE passport has been ranked as the 15th most powerful in the world with visa-free or visa-on-arrival access to 170 international destinations, according to the latest ranking released by Henley & Partners, a global investment migration consultancy,
The passport remains the strongest in the Middle East and North Africa region too!
Declaring the UAE a pandemic winner, the research report said the UAE has made unprecedented achievements as it emerged as the biggest gainer on the index, making up 49 places since 2012!
Japan, whose passport allows holders to travel to 193 destinations without a prior visa, took the number one spot, followed by Singapore and South Korea in the second position; Germany and Spain (3rd); Finland, Italy and Luxembourg (4th); Austria, Denmark, Netherlands and Sweden (5th).
