UAE Collabs With Tech Giants to Launch ‘Coder Training Program’

UAE partnered with some of the biggest tech giants in the world such as Amazon, Google, Microsoft, Facebook, Huawei and more, to launch a new campaign called ‘National Program for Coders.’

Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid initiated this to train around 100,000 young coders to participate and help develop as computer programmers. and to further establish 1000 global digital companies within five years. Moreover, this will also increase start-up investments from Dh1.5 billion to Dh4 billion.

Coders from all around the world will be invited to participate in finding solutions to 100 government, economic, technological, health and services challenges to help accelerate the time taken to adopt modern technology. The program will also organise ten ‘hackathons’ that is aimed to bring together the best programmers for the events being hosted in the emirates.

To further support the youth, The National Program for Coding will be granting 100,00 golden visas to the world’s best coders, will provide a range of financing options to entrepreneurs and coders, support their projects and idea, and to establish digital companies that will help promote competitiveness of the national economy worldwide.
