The Covid safety protocols for participating in Christmas and New Year’s Eve celebrations have been announced by UAE authorities.

To enter a venue, residents must have a green pass on their AlHosn apps, according to the National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority (NCEMA).

2. They must also have a negative Covid test result within 96 hours of the event.

3. Event venues can accommodate up to 80% of their total capacity. Attendees must wear masks and keep a social distance of 1.5 meters.

4. Organizers must monitor the temperature of attendees and regulate entry to avoid crowding and gatherings.

5. Members of the same family can share a space without feeling socially isolated.
