Drake’s Album Cover Is Inspiring Businesses in the Middle East, and the Results Are Hilarious

Drake just dropped his new album ‘Certified Lover Boy’, last week, and it’s already been streamed millions of times. And while the overall reaction to the music has been that it’s a home run, his cover art perplexed most. The cover art for CLB features custom emojis of 12 pregnant women. Designed by British artist Damien Hirst, the emojis are all of different skin tones and wearing different color tops.

And, soon after the album dropped, in came the memes poking fun at the cover art. But, some startups and companies have taken this opportunity to further their brand. International companies such as Adobe and Crocs have all released their own versions.

But it’s not just happening internationally, it’s happening right here in the Middle East too. Companies like noon, an online retailer have also taken this opportunity to further brand recognition.

Other companies such as Ejaro, a car service, and 138, a clothing company have followed suit too.

Imitation is the highest form of flattery?
