Sharjah Art Foundation’s film screenings include award-winning work by upcoming directors, world cinema classics, or specially curated series that may explore a specific theme or genre, with an emphasis on films not shown in mainstream cinemas. Tonight they’ll be showcasing the Casablanca Beats (2021) film so check it out!
Tonight they’ll be playing Casablanca Beats (2021) which is about a well-known former rapper, Anas, brings his out-of-the-box ideas to his new job at a cultural centre in Sidi Moumen, a working-class neighbourhood in Casablanca that encourage his students to express themselves through hip-hop. It’s an Arabic film with English subtitles.
It’s a super fun film that everyone can enjoy! The tickets are also free of charge so you can just enjoy the outside breeze, sit back, and watch the film with your family, friends or even alone!
It’ll start at 8:30 pm and end at 10:12 pm!
Be aware that visitors must present either a negative PCR test result or a green status on the Al Hosn app, as well as wear masks and maintain a safe distance from others at all times.
