How cool!
Your kids can participate in the exhibition called Deir El-medina: the Lost Village of the Pharaohs’ Artists and it will be held until August 31st 2022 so you have lots of time to go check it out!
The exhibition includes a variety of interactive activities inspired by the archaeological discoveries in this village, such as a typical excavation replica site where children can practice archaeologist work using mockup excavation tools and using touch-screens to write in hieroglyphs and transform into Pharaohs. They will also be able to learn about the most important ancient Egyptian costumes and be inspired by the secrets of the papyrus industry by visiting the ancient Egyptian writing corner.
You’ll be able to learn and see all sorts of cool ancient things at this exhibition! You’ll learn the techniques used in the archaeological excavations of the Italian Mission in Luxor in Egypt at the beginning of the 20th century, you’ll also see archeological digs that resulted in the discovery of a large village that was once inhabited by builders, artists, painters and sculptors, who built the tombs of the pharaohs of Egypt in the second millennium BC!
It will be at Sharjah Archeology Museum, so make sure to check it out to get an experience of how it was like living in the ancient times of Egypt.
Have fun!
