Wohooo!
Every year, this international event is held in the city’s heritage district along the Sharjah corniche. It is organized by Sharjah’s Department of Culture and Institute of Heritage, and it coincides with UNESCO World Heritage Day on April 18. Several countries participate, with a special guest country each year!
Sharjah Heritage Days, which honors the UAE’s rich history since 2003, includes cultural activities, talks, and performances that shed light on UAE cultural traditions. It also specifically includes storytelling events that delve into the lives and practices of the nation’s forefathers and ancestors.
The main venue is in Sharjah’s Heart, one of the most popular Sharjah tourist destinations, where there will be celebrations of UAE history, Arabic food, and the evolution of Emirati clothing.
Locals, residents, and expatriates attend these events to take in the intriguing sights, soulful sounds, and flavorful smells of Arab culture, as well as the delectable taste of Emirati cuisine. The events are especially popular with families who want to teach their kids about local traditions in the Arab world’s cultural capital.
This event will take place from the 10th of March to the 28th of March from 4:00 – 10:00 pm at Al Mureija, Heart of Sharjah!
Have fun!
