The wait is over folks! Sharjah Safari, said to be the biggest safari in the world outside of Africa, is finally opening up tomorrow!
It will be one of the greatest tourist destinations in Sharjah with a lot to offer! They’ll have more than 120 species of animals as well as the rare black rhinoceros!
The safari will be largest in the world outside of Africa and will have 12 different African environments. There will be a section for giraffes which btw 15 of them were released into the wild so they can adapt to the safari atmosphere and there will also be a rhino enclosure!
Over 100 animals from flamingos to crocodiles have already arrived at the safari and are eagerly waiting for our visit to them 😀
Now to just put the icing on this wonderful news, Sharjah safari will also have it’s very own large natural lake surrounded by an area designated for picnics, cafes and live animal shows!
Now about how you can get there! There are different ticket types which we’ll tell you all about!
Bronze ticket (Walking tour)
Price: AED 40 for those over the age of 12 and AED 15 for children aged 3 to 12.
Tour Duration: 2-3 hours
Zone Covered: Into Africa
Silver tickets
Price: AED 120 for those over the age of 12 and AED 50 for children aged 3 to 12.
Tour Duration: 5-6 hours
Zone Covered: all Sharjah Safari environments except Serengeti
Any other info: One seat on a regular bus is covered
Gold tickets
Price: AED 275 for those over the age of 12 and AED 120 for children aged 3 to 12.
Tour Duration: 5-6 hours
Zone Covered: all Sharjah Safari environments with a private guide
Any other info: One seat on a luxury vehicle is covered
Timings
The safari will be opened from 8: 30 am to 6:30 pm
While for gold and silver tickets the last time to enter is at 2:00 pm and 4:00 pm for bronze ticket holders.
