Global festive traditions at Dubai Expo 2020
Until December 27, the Expo 2020 Dubai site will be transformed into a festive wonderland, complete with Christmas trees, Santa boxes, and other décor that honors tradition while adding a modern twist.
On the last day, December 27, there will be 3D-printed snowflakes at the Czech Republic Pavilion and a 400-year-old Lucia tradition at the Sweden Pavilion.
Catch Santa skydiving into global village!
Santa skydives into Global Village to light up the tree and launch the festive fireworks. To add to the festive atmosphere, the now-famous Global Village Teddies have donned Santa Hats throughout the Park.
The Festive Brictacular at Legoland
Do you want to see a Christmas tree made entirely of Lego bricks? Legoland Dubai has it all. On December 5, the fun destination began its daily Christmas countdown, which will continue until December 25 in Miniland.
Checkout the Imagine Show at Dubai Festival City Mall
The Winter Wonderland will charm visitors from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. daily until December 30, with showcases including an elf’s workshop, daily tree lighting, and a letterbox to send letters to Santa.

From now until December 30, festival goers can enjoy much-loved local favorites such as the annual Festive Market at Madinat Jumeirah, which includes a popular ice rink and seasonal favorites such as hot chocolate and roasted chestnuts.

The Mall of the Emirates is hosting its annual festive market, where visitors can see a carbon-neutral LED Christmas tree that changes colors. Wafi Mall has gone all out this year, as it does every year, to give UAE residents a December to remember.

Create your own gingerbread house
Mister Baker, a famous bakery, is offering a custom-made, fully assembled, and decorated gingerbread house for Dh180, which can be ordered online or in-store and is a flawless décor element for any festive set up! Alternatively, you can purchase a gingerbread house DIY kit, which includes walls, a roof, and a door for you to assemble your own house. The assembly board, royal icing, and decorations are all included, and the only instruction is to have fun while decorating.
