Al Noor Mosque

This beautiful mosque is located along the Sharjah corniche. Since it is a popular mosque, they offer you the traditional religious/Emirati clothes to enter the mosque respectfully. They also offer tours of the mosque where they explain the Islamic culture, Emirati history and the stunning architecture of the mosque. And make sure to keep an eye out for when it sometimes lights up in the evening!

King Faisal Mosque

The King Faisal Mosque is named after King Faisal of Saudi Arabia. It is located on King Faisal Road and Al Arouba Street. Not only is it a beautiful place to worship but also has a small library for islamic books on the second floor. It also has a big place near the women’s prayer room where you can donate clothes for the needy!

Al Maghfirah Mosque

Al Maghfira mosque is a mosque with a beautiful name. “Maghfira” in Arabic means forgiveness, it is what Muslims pray for when they worship God constantly. So it has a beautiful and symbolic meaning. This mosque is located in Al Seef area, on the corniche.

Sharjah Mosque

The Sharjah Mosque is the biggest mosque in the emirate. It is extremely beautiful with a huge area outside the mosque for people to walk around, make wudhu (ablution) and take stunning pictures. It is located on Maliha Road and lights up as as evening begins! It truly is worth a visit. It’s so breathtaking!

Al Qasba Mosque

Al Qasba Mosque is another beautiful mosque located near Al Majaz 3. It also lights up during the evening for special occasions.

Mosques are a huge part of Sharjah, so you HAVE to visit them when you have a chance. They really take your breath away and fill your heart with peace!
