More than a year after clearing Mars from their space mission bucket list, UAE announced their next venture to go to Venus! 😱 and this mission is thought to be five times more complicated than the Mars Mission…
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai took his social media accounts to announce UAE’s plans to travel to the planet, Venus to explore it and its solar system’s asteroid belt.. tricky we know!

An Emirati spacecraft will begin its 3.6 billion KMs route on a five-year journey to gather data such as the gravity, velocity etc concerning the destination planet and the Earth.
With that, UAE Space Agency is expecting to have the five-year expedition launched in 2028, considering the spacecraft will take seven years to develop and manufacture.
The launch of a new project to explore Venus and the asteroid belt sets an ambitious new goal for our country’s burgeoning space programme. The UAE is determined to make a meaningful contribution to space exploration, scientific research and our understanding of the solar system. pic.twitter.com/bS7QJpK0KL

But right now, their main focus is to learn more about the seven asteroids and UAE will try making yet another history by having the first Arab astronaut to land on an asteroid.
Right, where are we going next? 👀 🪐
