YouTube has announced that its $100 million YouTube Shorts Fund, which strives to reward content creators and artists for their original and innovative short videos, has gone live in the UAE!
YouTube Shorts Fund is now here in the UAE, as well as other Middle Eastern countries such as Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Algeria, Iraq, Bahrain, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, and Morocco.
Channels that meet the criteria for the fund can earn between $100 and $10,000 per month to begin, with bonus payment amounts determined by the channel’s overall Shorts performance and the location of their audience.
To be eligible for the fund, creators must meet the following requirements:
- Channels must have posted at least one eligible Short in the previous 180 days.
- YouTube’s Community Guidelines, copyright policies, and monetisations policies must be followed by all channels.
- Channels that post videos with watermarks or logos from third-party social media platforms, non-original videos (such as unedited clips from movies or TV shows), or videos re-uploaded from other creators’ channels will be disqualified.
- To be eligible, channels do not need to be currently monetized on YouTube.
- Creators must be of legal age in their country/region.
This is amazing news for all the wonderful creators out there so we wish you the best of luck on this new journey of yours!
