UAE nationals and residents can now get their child’s birth certificate issued through the social networking app, WhatsApp which was announced by the Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoAHP) at Gitex Global 2021, on October 17th.

This announcement is all part of UAE’s vision to stay updated with the latest technology and online trends in the world.
Samir Al Khoury, the director of the IT department at MoHAP explained how this service of issuing birth certificates through WhatsApp will help develop their customers’ experiences and meet whatever needs they might have effectively and ASAP!
Al Khoury further explained that the interactive chat via WhatsApp will also be used for other customer services inquiries such as, parking via Whatsapp rather than via SMS, whilst the number will stay the same – 7275.
Good news for all those not a fan of paperwork!
