😮 omg… 😮
Woah we know…this is HUGE! Are things finally changing and becoming better…will we get our old lives back…is this it?!?!?!
The Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHaP) and the National Emergency Crisis and Disasters Management Authority (NCEMA) announced on Wednesday that wearing a face-mask is no longer required to enter certain areas of the UAE!
It will no longer be mandatory to wear a face-mask when exercising in public places, in the car with people who live in the same house as you, and when going to beaches and swimming pools! This is applied as well as for people who are in closed spaces, getting treatments done to their face & head in salons/barbershops and getting treated in medical clinics.
Soon, there will also be signs in places telling you where you don’t need to wear a mask!
Isn’t that crazy!

However, people will still need to maintain social distancing in public areas, atleast of two meters.
Now you may wonder how they decided to suddenly impose this change well, this decision was made after the local authorities noticed the significant decline in covid-19 cases in the UAE due to the large amount of residents being vaccinated and the nation’s excellent efforts in trying to detect infected cases and controlling them!
MoHAP and NCEMA urged the public to continue wearing face-masks in unrestricted areas, citing research that found face-masks to be one of the most effective means of virus prevention. They emphasized the importance of adhering to precautionary measures established by appropriate authorities in order to ensure the health and safety of all members of society and to assume social responsibility.
