Breaking News: PCR Tests Are No Longer Required to Enter Abu Dhabi

Beginning on September 19th, visitors to Abu Dhabi will no longer be required to show proof of a negative Covid-19 test before entering the capital.

As a result of the Covid-19 Pandemic, the Abu Dhabi Emergency, Crisis and Disasters Committee has revised the entry procedure for UAE nationals to the emirate and approved the cancellation of Covid-19 testing requirements for entry.

The decision was made after the announcement of a 0.2% decrease in the emirate’s Covid-19 infection rate and the activation of the green pass system for entering certain public places.
