10 Best Things To Do In Sharjah For A Unique Holiday In UAE

The decision was made by Sharjah’s Executive Council on Thursday. It will become effective on January 1, 2022. Employees will work from 7.30 a.m. to 3.30 p.m., which is approximately 90 minutes longer than the current schedule.

The decision comes on the heels of the federal government’s historic shift to a Saturday-Sunday weekend with a half-day of work on Friday. The UAE’s labor minister has stated that the private sector will not be given official instructions to make the change and will be free to do so at their own discretion.

Sharjah’s government sector is the first in the Gulf and Middle East to fully implement a four-day work week. Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed Al Qasimi, Sharjah’s Deputy Ruler, announced the move after receiving instructions from Sharjah’s Ruler.

We finally will be getting the break we needed!
