Check It Out: HH Sheikh Sultan Has Announced Many Upcoming Attractions in Sharjah!

Yay!

His Highness, Dr Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, has directed that a comprehensive plan be formed to develop services on the emirate’s cities’ shores, fill gaps, and add more attractions to delight and comfort visitors.

Coordination was made with the Roads and Transport Authority to add services to Al Heera Beach and carry out additional projects such as restaurants, walking facilities, and others, which should be completed by the end of the year, he said.

Furthermore, the second phase of the Khorfakkan beach development project will begin by preserving the existing trees in the area, followed by the addition of facilities and service buildings, as well as collaboration with Khorfakkan government departments to add services to Al Luluiya Beach, he added.

The Kalba Waterfront, the largest shopping center of its kind on the Emirate of Sharjah’s eastern coast, is being built in Kalba City, extending over 700 meters and featuring shops, restaurants, and a play area, he said.

Preparations are also being made to open the Moon Retreat with a beautiful view in the middle of the Mleiha desert, he added, noting that the Al Rafraf Inn in Kalba would be expanded by adding 20 more tents under Sheikh Sultan’s directives.

A hotel with 80 rooms would also be built on Kalba Lake near the waterfront, while two more hotels are being built in Khorfakkan, one on Suwayfa Mountain and the other on the beach, with a water park and a shopping mall, he said.

Work is currently underway in Sharjah Sustainable City, which is located near the Al Rahmaniya suburb, and the residential units are expected to be completed by the end of the year, he added.

So many new projects, we’re so excited!!!
