Expo 2020 Dubai is only 2 days away and we can’t hold the excitement any longer!! To celebrate the opening, there will be fireworks displayed all around Dubai with live streaming of the event!
The star-studded opening ceremony of Expo 2020 Dubai will be streamed live to over 430 locations across the UAE, allowing everyone to take part in the mind-blowing experience from wherever they are!
Screens will be installed in locations ranging from airports and shopping malls to hotels and other landmarks, relaying the incredible music and cultural performances that will be shown live.
The experience will be streamed at 17 Majid Al Futtaim malls, as well as City Walk, Nakheel Mall, and Ibn Battuta Mall, as well as 50 Jashanmal locations across Dubai and Abu Dhabi, 97 Mediclinics, Dubai and Abu Dhabi International Airports, Zabeel Ladies Club, Sharaf DG and more!
As well as at various locations in Umm Al Quwain, Yas Plaza in Abu Dhabi, and the Corniche, Al Marjan Island, and Manar Mall in Ras Al Khaimah, adding to the evening’s magic. Ajman Heritage District and Fujairah Fort will also host a live broadcast, which will be followed by an evening of other festivities including a mini village, folklore bands, traditional crafts, heritage displays, and traditional food.
Viewers from all over the world can also participate in the evening’s events via a global live stream, which will be available on virtualexpo.world and Expo TV beginning at 1930 GST.
To begin the ceremony with a BLAST, there will be three fireworks displayed on the 1st of October, Friday!
The fireworks show will take place on the evening of Friday, October 1st, beginning at 8.30 p.m. (local time) at Dubai Festival City, The Frame, and The Pointe, Palm Jumeirah, each with their own unique celebrations. Both The Pointe and Dubai Festival City will incorporate their fountains into a spectacular light and sound show themed on Expo 2020, while The Frame façade will be illuminated in Expo colors. The flags of participating countries will also be displayed, and there will be booths on the ground where visitors can purchase Expo 2020 tickets.
