Ah finally!
Finding a place to get a COVID-19 PCR test has always been a struggle as there would be so many different places with different costs and so finding the right one and the one that’ll give results right away wasn’t easy. However, UAE has just made it easier for all of us by announcing these new rules and we couldn’t be happier!

The cost of a PCR test will be decreased to Dh50 across all medical facilities, and all health centers and laboratories will be required to provide results within 24 hours after conducting the test, according to Ministry of Health and Prevention regulations.
The ruling will take effect today on August 31, 2021.
The ministry stated that it will monitor health facilities’ adherence to the decision and will collaborate with all relevant health authorities to ensure that all test services are given in accordance with the rules.
