Who doesn’t love some free parking?!
Due to the beginning of the Islamic New Year, there will be free parking in Sharjah for all public and private sector on Saturday, July 30th!
Muharram is celebrated as the beginning of the Islamic New Year by Muslims all over the world. It is regarded as a pious and significant festival. For Muslims, it is one of the four sacred months of the year. Therefore, due to this special occasion, Sharjah is having free parking all around!
However, this does not include the parking zones where fees are charged throughout the week, including Fridays and official holidays. The blue guiding panels installed beneath the parking signs identify the seven-day paid parking zones.
