Global Village is always famous for their fireworks and this year they’re going all out with 8 firework shows with music and cultural performances!
On December 31, Global Village will synchronize New Year’s Eve celebrations in eight different locations around the world.
Shaun Cornell, Global Village’s Director of Entertainment, stated: “This New Year’s Eve, we’re counting down with the rest of the world to welcome 2022 in style. Guests will be treated to spectacular fireworks not once, but eight times throughout the night, with incredible shows and celebrations in between.”
Fireworks will begin during the day at the Park as Australia enters the New Year at 5 p.m. UAE time. The Philippines will ring in the New Year at 8 p.m., Thailand at 9 p.m., Bangladesh at 10 p.m., India at 10.30 p.m., and Pakistan at 11 p.m. A spectacular five-minute fireworks display will greet guests as the UAE welcomes the New Year at midnight. The eighth and final fireworks display will take place an hour later, at 1 a.m., to coincide with the Russian New Year.
The evening of December 31 is reserved solely for ladies and families. The gates open at 4 p.m., and the hours of operation have been extended until 2 a.m!
