New Year’s Eve Fun!

New Year’s Eve is just a few days away, so now’s the time to start planning how you’re going to be celebrating! If you’re planning to watch the spectacular one and only Burj Khalifa’s New Year’s Eve show, then here’s everything you need to know about what’s going to take place this year!

The unbelievable night will include the Burj Khalifa and the Dubai night sky being lit by countless dazzling beams, setting a new record for the largest laser display, with the 828-metre Burj Khalifa serving as an enthralling crown jewel.

In addition to the stunning lights and fireworks show, The Dubai Fountain will perform a mesmerizing, synchronized performance.

Bookings

If you want to watch the New Year’s Eve fireworks from a restaurant or cafe, you have to make a reservation in advance. Contact your preferred hotel, restaurant, or café; and they’ll let you know the procedures and requirements you need!

There are no reservations, registrations, or tickets required for those watching the show from the streets of Downtown Dubai. Attendance will be on a first-come, first-served basis, so make sure you arrive early!

Transport

Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Boulevard will be closed from 6 p.m. onwards, so guests with hotel or restaurant reservations that include parking must arrive before this time.

Parking at Dubai Mall will be available until capacity is reached. No further admission will be permitted once the road closures surrounding the parking access are in place.

Taxis will operate normally prior to the road closures, but will not be able to access Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Boulevard once the road closures are in place.

Road closures are estimated to be raised between 1am and 2am, according to Dubai Police and the RTA. Cars parked at Downtown Dubai hotels, residences, and F&B outlets, as well as Dubai Mall parking, will be able to leave once the restrictions are removed.

Depending on the capacity of Dubai Mall, the Metro Station at Dubai Mall could close at any time between 2 and 10 p.m. The station will close once it reaches its capacity.

So make sure you plan your transport and parking accordingly!

So exciting!
