What better way to spend your money!
The annual fundraising campaign continues the global Girl Scouts and Girl Guides’ long-standing cookie-selling tradition, with the goal of developing the leadership skills of Brownies, Guides, and Senior Guides and enriching their experiences through various charity endeavors.
SGG members aged 7 to 18 ( SO CUTE ) will sell cookies at the Paper Fig Restaurant & Dessert Shop in Sharjah’s University City until the campaign ends on December 10! The young girl guides will prepare the cookies using a special SGG recipe!
This will help raise funds for the purchase of hearing aids for the hearing impaired students at Al Wafa School for Capacity Development in Sharjah.
The girl guides’ cookie-selling tradition, which SGG has adapted for its annual humanitarian initiatives, began nearly a century ago to raise funds for guiding activities.
Shaikha Al Shamsi, Manager of SGG, urged community members to support the noble cause, which reflects the Emirati community’s values of giving and fosters a sense of social responsibility among all SGG members while also benefiting Sharjah’s hearing impaired students.
This is honestly such a heartwarming campaign & something that is so important, so make some time and buy some cookies from adorable young Sharjah girl guides at the Paper Fig Restaurant & Dessert Shop in Sharjah! You’ll be part of making some students very happy!
Make the world a better place!
