News: New Relaxed Covid-19 Rules Have Been Announced in The UAE

New month, new rules

Covid-19 is still existing which means we still need to be careful and protect ourselves and our loved ones. However, thankfully, the Covid-19 cases have been decreasing in the UAE, so the National Emergency Crisis and Disasters Management (NCEMA) have announced new relaxed rules on August 8.

Vaccination and PCR tests mandatory for some events

The ‘green pass’ approach has also been pushed to be used by establishments around the country to enable entrance to specific events. The ‘green pass’ is on AlHosn App which is a color-coding system that displays a person’s vaccination status.

  • Only fully vaccinated individuals can be allowed to participate in events or any activity. The second dose must have been taken no longer than 6 months prior to the event.
  • A negative PCR result must also be shown before entering the event or participating in an activity.
