Sharjah Animal Safari Will be the LARGEST Safari in the World Outside Africa!

Who doesn’t love animals?

This safari in Sharjah will be home to over 50,000 animals and more than 10,000 trees found in Africa! Go big or go home huh?

It will be one of the greatest tourist destinations in Sharjah with a lot to offer! They’ll have more than 120 species of animals as well as the rare black rhinoceros!

The safari will be largest in the world outside of Africa and will have 12 different African environments. There will be a section for giraffes which btw 15 of them were released into the wild so they can adapt to the safari atmosphere and there will also be a rhino enclosure!

Over 100 animals from flamingos to crocodiles have already arrived at the safari and are eagerly waiting for our visit to them 😀

Now to just put the icing on this wonderful news, Sharjah safari will also have it’s very own large natural lake surrounded by an area designated for picnics, cafes and live animal shows!

Check out Sharjah safari’s logo that was released by Environment and Protected Areas Authority in Sharjah! (EPAA)  The logo represents four endangered animals in four different colors: an elephant, a giraffe, a lion, and a rhinoceros. <3

As well as being a place for tourists to watch and enjoy animals, Sharjah safari is also a scientific research project dedicated to breeding animals on the verge of extinction.

Hana Saif Al Suwaidi, the chairperson of the EPAA, said: The Sharjah Safari will contribute to preserving biodiversity and wildlife.”
