Pray for rain!
Rain prayers will be held in all UAE mosques on Friday in response to the President’s call on Saturday, His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
The prayers, known in Arabic as ‘Salaat Al Istisqaa,’ will be offered 10 minutes before the call to Friday prayer (Adhan) on November 12 across the country!
Sheikh Khalifa urged all Muslims in the country to pray to Allah Almighty for rain and mercy in accordance with Prophet Muhammad’s (peace be upon him) Sunnah (traditions).
Hopefully our prayers get answered!
