Sheikh Mohammed Announces Dh50 Million Aid for Pakistan Flood Victims

Great News!

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum lends a helping hand to Pakistan by directing Dh50 million towards emergency aid to those impacted by the floods in the recent weeks. Rainfall in Pakistan has been four times higher in recent weeks than it has been in the previous 30 years leading to many villages and lives destroyed.

The aid will be provided by Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives (MBRGI) in collaboration with the World Food Programme and the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Humanitarian and Charity Establishment (MBRCH).

The money will go into providing food and other kinds of assistance for the individuals and families who have been impacted by the floods in Pakistan recently.

More than 1,136 individuals lost their lives in the floods, which displaced millions and destroyed over 3,450 kilometers of crucial roads, isolating entire communities.

The aid from UAE will be helping these victims enormously and hopefully will try to get Pakistan back together again. So grateful for our country!

Sending lots of prayers!
