So…WhatsApp Calls Have Been Working for Some People in the UAE!

WhatsApp Calls have been blocked in the UAE for the longest time however now some people around the UAE are starting to notice that the calls are working and with good quality!😳

According to Reuters, some smartphone users in the UAE have been able to make phone calls using WhatsApp, Skype, and other internet apps.

And this is big news since voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) services are banned in the country, and we gotta use paid apps such as Botim to make internet phone calls 🙁

The UAE government’s cyber security chief previously revealed that talks are underway to lift the ban on some VoIP services such as WhatsApp and Facetime in the UAE. Soo…maybe it wont be long till WhatsApp starts working now??

Plus, UAE has also has allowed visitors to the EXPO 2020 site to start making WhatsApp and skype calls! We’re not sure if this will be for the full 6 months but hey good news is good news!
