Make sure you know them before you fly!
New US COVID-19 testing rules designed to decrease the spread of the Omicron variant will go into effect on Monday, requiring all international travelers to show proof of a negative test taken within a day of their flight to the United States!
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is reducing the three-day window for all international air travelers to take a pre-departure coronavirus test to one. Previously, only unvaccinated travelers were required to take a test no later than one day before departure.
According to an updated CDC order, the shorter timeframe is intended to “provide less opportunity to develop infection with the omicron variant prior to arrival in the United States.”
Starting Dec. 6: All international air passengers, regardless of vaccination status, must show a negative #COVID19 test taken no more than 1 day before #travel to the United States.

The new rules take effect Monday and apply to all air passengers 2 years and older flying into the United States from another country, regardless of vaccination status or nationality. Travelers who can show proof of recovery from COVID-19 within the last 90 days are excluded.
Stay safe everyone!
