The UAE has dispatched an aircraft to Afghanistan with emergency food and medical supplies.
The aid was delivered on Friday to thousands of Afghan families, focusing on the most vulnerable members of society, such as women, children, and the elderly.

Not only that, the UAE has been tremendous help during this difficult time by becoming a critical logistical hub for global evacuation efforts in Afghanistan, assisting in the evacuation of approximately 39,827 Afghans and foreign citizens since the crisis erupted in early August.
The British ambassador to the UAE thanked the UAE for its assistance in the international withdrawal from Afghanistan. More than 15,000 people flew by Britain from Afghanistan to the UAE in recent weeks before returning safely to the UK.
