Updated Travel Rules Are Here!
Emirati Residents from these countries that include Pakistan, India, Nepal, Nigeria, Sri Lanka and Uganda, are not required to show proof of COVID-19 Vaccination in order to travel to Dubai.
However, all passengers are required to have a valid UAE residence permit in order to enter Dubai and need these following conditions to be carried out:
- Dubai visa holders must apply for pre‑entry approval through General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA).
- Passengers must have a valid Covid-19 test certificate issued within 48 hours between the time of sample collection and scheduled flight departure. Only Covid-19 PCR test reports from certified labs that issue a QR code linked to the original report will be accepted.
- Passengers must complete a Covid-19 PCR rapid test four hours before the departure of their flight. (Rapid antigen test will not be accepted).
- Passengers must complete a Covid‑19 PCR test on arrival in Dubai.
Anyone exempted from the first three points will have to take the COVID-19 PCR test on arrival at Dubai International Airport.
Do note down that all passengers except UAE nationals who have been to these six countries in the past 14 days will not be permitted to enter Dubai.
In addition to this news, Emirates tweeted out as response to a tweet stating: Children travelling from India, under the age of 18-years-old are not required to present proof of COVID-19 Vaccination and are exempt from taking rapid or PCR testing.
