The moon is not sighted!
The Saudi Arabia’s Supreme Court announced the Shawwal moon was not sighted today therefore Eid Al Fitr 2022 will be celebrated on Monday, May 2nd!
The International Astronomical Centre also announced this morning that it would be impossible to spot the crescent of Shawwal tonight and that the last day of the Holy Month of Ramadan will be today, April 30th.

However, the UAE moon-sighting committee and Saudi Arabia’s Supreme Court had yet to confirm – which it is now and other countries including Qatar, Iraq, Kuwait, Bahrain have also declared their Eid Al Fitr celebration to be on Monday.
