UAE’s Been Creating Artificial Rain With Drones Cuz Why Not

Humans can do wonders!

Did you ever think that you’ll witness “man made rain” in your life? Well now it’s happening! With temperatures in UAE regularly surpassing 46 degrees Celsius, the government has decided to finally take control of the scorching heat.

Scientists in UAE are “making it rain” – artificially – by carrying out the process of cloud seeding. They’re using electrical charges from drones to alter the microphysical processes within the clouds which results into modification in natural weather. The officials recently released a video showing a downpour over Ras Al Khaimah and other regions. It’s just amazing tbh!

The government is hoping that “zapping” clouds regularly will help control the scorching weather conditions at the moment and alleviate the annual heat waves we get.

Are your umbrellas out?
