Yes you read that right!
As Dubai prepares to host its spectacular “Eve of Wonders” New Year’s Eve celebrations, Emaar has revealed a slew of useful guidelines and details for attendees.
The spectacular show, which will include a remarkable firework display choreographed to lasers, lights, and music, will illuminate the Dubai sky with a show unlike anything else.
To protect the health, safety, and well-being of those attending, guests will enter Downtown Dubai through five gates strategically placed throughout the area. To gain access to the viewing areas in Downtown Dubai, guests must present their U By Emaar QR codes.
What you need to know about registeration
- All guests, whether attending Emaar’s New Year’s Eve festivities at a hotel, restaurant, the family viewing area, or as an Emaar Boulevard resident, must register via the U By Emaar app.
- After processing the request, each guest will begin receiving an individual QR code that will grant access to Downtown Dubai for a safe and seamless experience on New Year’s Eve, December 31, 2021.
Public access
- The Dubai Mall will remain up and running, but access to the viewing areas will be restricted.
- On New Year’s Eve, the zones will open at 3 p.m. Anyone who registers to watch the show, which is free, will be delegated a zone and gate through which they can enter the event.
Parking & public transport
- Please follow Dubai RTA for updates and announcements regarding public transportation arrangements and scheduled road closures in Downtown Dubai on New Year’s Eve.
- Parking will be accessible on Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Boulevard, The Dubai Mall, and The Dubai Mall Zabeel. Parking spots will fill up quickly, so guests are advised to arrive early.
Or you can just watch it online!
Emaar NYE 2022 will be broadcast live across the globe beginning at 8.30pm local time on mydubainewyear.com for those who are unable to attend the celebrations in Downtown Dubai.
Have fun & dont forget to register!
