New Year, New Meteor Shower!
Starting 2023 by witnessing a major meteor shower where you can look up to the sky just few days after New Years to enjoy the Quanratids Meteor Shower!
According to the Dubai Astronomy Group, this year’s first major meteor shower is also among the most intense to witness. It is one of the most powerful and constant, with a maximum speed of 110 meteors per hour on a clear night. While the shower will last until January 5, its peak will be on the nights of January 3-4.
You can watch the meteor shower yourself as long as you’re in a dark area away from the city lights! You don’t need any special equipments.
