These Scientists Developed Biosensors Detects Coronovirus in Just 90 Minutes

And it won’t stick up your nose!

Scientists from the Wyss Institute for Biologically Inspired Engineering at Harvard University and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology developed a biosensor inserted in a mask, that can detect coronavirus, specifically the presence of SARS-CoV-2, within just 90 minutes.

The way this works is that the patient breathes into the button-activated mask and it gives the results, as accurate as the standard PCR tests done, within 90 minutes.

According to Peter Nguyen PhD from Wyss Institute, the biosensors can also be integrated into other garments so that viruses, bacteria, toxins and chemical agents can be detected on the go!
