Visit the butterfly house!
This Butterfly House in Al Noor Island is one of the most popular attractions in Sharjah. They are home to more than 500 butterflies from 20 different exotic species. It is located in an ergonomically designed structure to let in natural light and retain humidity, creating a safe refuge for butterflies. They also have a cafe in the house to spend time in!
To enter the butterfly house it costs AED 15 for ages 13 and above and AED 10 for ages 3 – 12
Timings: 9:00 am to 6:00 pm daily
Admire the different arts & sculptures
Al Noor Island teamed up with several artists and sculptors to create magnificent and inspiring pieces integrated with cultural and natural aspects around the island. There are six installations around the island that have their own elements. The Torus by David Harber, Fossil Rocks, Columns by Susanne Schmogner, Steel Sculpture, Park Benches, and The Swing. You’re either marveling at the play of light and shadows or having your mind stimulated with illusions. These are the perfect backdrops for your Insta pictures!
A place for your kids to play!
Al Noor Island also has a safe playground for kids built around the Island between the trees and plants. It allows kids to have some time away from the screen and actually enjoy the outdoor nature of the Island while they are supervised by you! They have provided some shaded areas where you can easily sit and watch your kids from there.
Watch the island light up with lights at night!
You can see the Island lit up with led lights everywhere at night! The Art Installations, structural designs, and even the landscapes glow with colors. It really makes you feel like you’re walking through an enchanted forest.
Connect with nature
Al Noor Island is the perfect place to connect with nature. It is home to over 70,000 trees and plants. In here, you will find ancient Spanish olive trees, bottle- and umbrella-shaped trees, towering cactuses, medicinal plants, ornamental grass, and more! Then when evening hits, which is the best part, the whole place is lit up with colorful led lights! Check out the Gleaming Meadows especially; they have a flowerbed of 1200 fiber-glass blossoms that change color in sync. It truly is such a magical place!
Drink a cup of coffee or grab a snack at Al Noor Cafe!
This Cafe is in the Butterfly House, where you can enjoy munching on some snacks and sipping on some healthy smoothies, surrounded by over 500 butterflies! The Cafe transforms into a glowing luminarium at night, creating a warm and beautiful ambiance.

The Young Island Explorer (YIE) program at Al Noor Islands is ideal for satisfying your child’s inquisitive nature! A guided tour of the Butterfly House with an educator is included in the YIE ticket, as is a self-guided tour of the island. You’ll even get a specially designed map of the island to help you explore!

Have a beautiful breakfast, lunch or dinner by the bay!
The bay on Al Noor Island is breathtaking. During the day, the waters of Khalid Lake shimmer with delight. By night, the bay reflects the cityscape, creating a beautiful view to dine with! You will also be able to watch the Al Majaz Waterfront dancing fountain from where you are seating!
Plus, you’ll be granted a guided tour of the island with the purchase of your booking! So if you feel like having a spectacular view while you eat with a special person then the Bay at Al Noor Island is the place to go!

Do Yoga at Sunrise!
You deserve a day to yourself where you can take deep breaths and relax your body and mind with the sounds of nature in the background. And that is exactly what yoga at Al Noor Island does for you!
It’s held on the second Saturday of every month for ladies only from 8:00 am – 9:00 am!

Learn All About Gardening
The workshop Nature Nurture will allow you to learn the fundamentals of indoor gardening, such as how to grow, water, and care for plants. Aside from that, you will also have the opportunity to participate in lively gardening discussion sessions about the advantages of having indoor plants, succulents, or air plants and how to care for them.
