Check Out the Sharjah International Water Bike Championship Happening Today!

That’s something new!

Get ready for the second stage of the Sharjah International Cycling Championship, organized by the Sharjah International Maritime Sports Club, which starts today!

The Championship is the first of its kind and bears the name of the emirate of Sharjah.

There will be more than 70 competitors from all around the world!

The Championship consists of five rounds held on the beaches of Sharjah cities, beginning in the city of Dibba Al Hisn and passing through Al Hamriyah, followed by the third round in Kalba, the fourth round on Khorfakkan beach, and the fifth and final round in Sharjah.

Sitting Mana Al Marzouki won the Open Sitting category in the first round, while Omar Abdullah Rashid Al-Rashed won the Open Standing category and Mohammed Mohsen Alim won the Veterans category. While in the junior category, competitor Ali Al Ali took first place.


The same number of people who competed in the first phase will compete in the second phase in four categories: open seated, open standing, veterans standing, and junior standing.

This round will happen today, 18th June, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Al Hamriyah Beach! So if you’re interested in water spots, check it out!
