Here’s Everything You Need to Know About Sharjah Safari’s New Attractions, Tickets & More!

Time for some fun again!

Sharjah Safari opened up early this year and became on of Sharjah’s greatest tourist destinations! They are said to be the largest safari in the world outside of Africa with over 50,000 animals including many rare species! The safari is the largest in the world outside of Africa and has 12 different African environments. These animals are in their natural habitat while visitors can admire their beauty in vehicles driven by the Safari staff!

You can see rhinos, flamingos, deers, elephants, giraffes and more!

The New Attractions:

  • 12 environments: Sharjah Safari has grown to include 12 distinct environments where visitors can learn about African terrain, animals, and birds.
  • Kalahari environment: It is modeled after Africa’s Kalahari Desert. It is abundant in wildlife, including a variety of birds, antelopes, and gazelles. It is a dry desert region that is home to wildlife that is reliant on seasonal rains.
  • Lemur: The lemur is primarily found in spiny forest environments. Visitors will be able to walk through the animal’s natural habitat. They are only found on the island of Madagascar.
  • The Niger Valley: Which gets its name from the Niger River, which Arabs called the Nile of Sudan and the river of rivers.

Ticket Prices:

  • Bronze Ticket: Walking Tour – AED 40 – for ages 13 and above – AED 15 for children in the 3-12 age group – tour duration is 2-3 hours (last ticket is sold at 4 pm)
  • Silver Ticket: Regular Bus – AED 120 – for ages 13 and above – AED 50 for children in the 3-12 age group – tour duration 5-6 hours (last ticket is sold at 2 pm)
  • Gold Ticket: Luxury Car + private guide – AED 275 – for ages 12 and above – AED 120 for children in the 3-12 age group – tour duration 5-6 hours (last ticket is sold at 2 pm)

Timings:

The park will be open from 8.30 a.m. to 6.30 p.m., Monday through Sunday. Gold and silver ticket holders must enter before 2 p.m., and bronze ticket holders must enter before 4 p.m.
